● First Game Project,  1 Month Personal Challenge

● TIGA Games Industry Award – Best Puzzle Platformer

This was my first ever game project, intentionally small in scope, but it ended up receiving more media attention than I anticipated. I gave myself a strict one month deadline to finish and release the game, treating it as a self imposed production challenge to learn what it truly takes to ship something.

As a solo developer, I handled almost every aspect of development:

  • Hand-drew all visual assets, then refined them in Photoshop
  • Designed gameplay and built levels
  • Packaged and released the game

At the time, I was still new to game design, relying mostly on intuition and experimentation to bring the concept to life. But the experience taught me invaluable lessons about:

  • Scoping realistically
  • Working within constraints
  • Making creative decisions quickly
  • Delivering a complete, finished product

Looking back, it was a rough but pivotal milestone, the first step in developing the mindset and discipline I’ve carried into every project since.
