The Scums

This project is a non-playable level demo built in Unity 5, inspired by Scum. The goal was to design a semi-open environment with a layer of dark humor. The centerpiece is a segment called The Scums, where a group of zombies dance in surreal contrast to the surrounding environment.

Design Intent

  • The level was crafted as a spatial and narrative exploration of tone and atmosphere rather than traditional gameplay.

Asset Creation & Technical Implementation

  • Environment assets were modeled in Blender
  • Animated characters were sourced from Mixamo
  • A Photoscan pipeline was used to integrate photogrammetry-based textures
